Physicians Guide for Reporting Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect (819 KB, PDF)
This pamphlet was prepared by the Michigan State University Chance at Childhood Program, with assistance from the Michigan Department of Human Services and the MSU College of Human Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. Mandated Reporter Pamphlet for Public Schools (791 KB, PDF)
The Chance at Childhood Program prepared a pamphlet for state-wide dissemination to public and private schools to inform school employees, especially school teachers, of their obligations as mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect. The pamphlet was produced with funding provided by an alumnus' donation given to Michigan State University's School of Social Work.
Michigan Child Welfare Law Journal
The Michigan Child Welfare Law Journal is produced by the Chance at Childhood Program with funding provided by the Children's Law Section of the Michigan State Bar and the Governnor's Task Force on Children's Justice. The Journal publishes information useful to practitioners in the child welfare field, including attorneys, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists and other health care professionals.
